Genesis 48:16 Meaning The Angel Who Has Redeemed Me From

the angel who has redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads, and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac. Let them grow into a multitude upon the earth.

What does Genesis 48:16 mean?

The gentle correction that lifted the mind out of every harm is called upon to do the same for what comes after. What redeemed the self was never a rescuer arriving from outside; it was the shift in perception that showed the evil to be a figure in a dream.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY

Christian Psychology

The gentle correction that lifted the mind out of every harm is called upon to do the same for what comes after. What redeemed the self was never a rescuer arriving from outside; it was the shift in perception that showed the evil to be a figure in a dream. A mind delivered this way wants the same deliverance carried forward, its healed name passed down so the correction spreads and multiplies.

This is how forgiveness grows, named upon the next and the next until it fills the whole field of thought. The blessing given to the young is simply the truth of their innocence spoken over them.

The Angel: the gentle correction within the mind, the miracle that redeems by revealing feared evil to be unreal The lads: the newer parts of the mind, the young thoughts asking to inherit the same deliverance Abraham and Isaac: the earlier awakened steps whose name is passed on, the lineage of trust the mind hands forward The earth: the whole field of thought across which the healing is meant to spread and multiply

Live Genesis 48:16 today

  1. Think of the person who once told you the truth about yourself kindly, and write down what they said. Then say that same thing out loud to yourself the next time you are hard on you.
  2. Tell a younger person today what is good in them, plainly and without conditions, in the group chat or across the kitchen table. Not praise for what they achieved, a statement about who they are.
  3. When someone messes up in front of you at work, say the thing that lets them off the hook before you say the thing that fixes the problem. That order is the whole lesson.

Who could use from me the kindness that once got me out of my own worst story?

The lamp loses nothing by lighting another lamp. What freed you is meant to pass on, and passing it on does not use it up.

Tao Te Ching

Water wears away stone not by force but by persistence, spreading into every low place. A correction that keeps moving outward fills the whole field without fighting.
