Isaiah 1:1 Meaning The Vision of Isaiah the Son

The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

What does Isaiah 1:1 mean?

Isaiah means that your own awareness is your salvation, that the I AM in you is what delivers, and the whole account is a vision seen within one person rather than a chronicle of a nation. Judah and Jerusalem are inner ground, the seat of praise and the place where the destined self is brought to completion.

MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

Isaiah means that your own awareness is your salvation, that the I AM in you is what delivers, and the whole account is a vision seen within one person rather than a chronicle of a nation. Judah and Jerusalem are inner ground, the seat of praise and the place where the destined self is brought to completion. The kings named are not rulers of a country but the succession of states a mind passes through, each reigning in its turn and giving way to the next.

What is called vision is the mode by which everything real comes to a person, seen inwardly before it is met outwardly. This governs the man who understands it. Nothing that matters begins in the world; it begins as an image held within and then is lived. A person sees the fulfilled state in imagination, and that seeing, kept vivid, is the deliverance the name itself declares.

ESOTERIC

Esoteric

Isaiah means the God within is deliverance, and a seeing bearing that name concerns Judah and Jerusalem, which are not a land and a town but 2 inner heights. Judah is the right hemisphere of the brain, the spirit nature and light in a person; Jerusalem is that person's own consciousness, the seat of awareness raised above the ordinary mind. The 4 kings are 4 reigns of consciousness, successive states that govern the inner realm across a life.

What is beheld is beheld inside, in the light of the right side where the spirit dwells. The whole vision unfolds over the terrain of the head, the reigning states of a person's own awareness rather than the fortunes of a nation.

Live Isaiah 1:1 today

  1. Before you open your phone in the morning, sit with your eyes closed for one minute and see one scene from today already going well, the meeting finished, the hard call made kindly. Hold the picture until it feels ordinary, then start the day from it.
  2. When someone close to you is stuck in a bad patch, stop picturing them as the problem they are describing. In your own mind see them relaxed, laughing, already past it, and talk to them from that version of them.
  3. In traffic or a long line, when the mind starts rehearsing the worst outcome of something, catch the rehearsal and swap the footage. Run the good version instead, with the same detail you were giving the bad one.

Which scene have I been quietly rehearsing, and would I want it to come true?

Yoga Vasistha

The whole world you deal with is a long dream of the mind, and what you take for solid history is a sequence of inner states rising and setting. Change the seer and the seen rearranges itself.

Dhammapada 1

Everything begins in the mind. What a person thinks with care and repetition, he eventually becomes, and his circumstances follow the thought the way a cart follows the ox.

Zhuangzi

Waking and dreaming trade places so smoothly that the man who dreamed he was a butterfly could not say which was the real life. The vision held within is not a lesser order of fact.
