Isaiah 44:7 · World English Bible

Isaiah 44:7 Meaning Who Is Like Me

Who is like me? Who will call, and will declare it, and set it in order for me, since I established the ancient people? Let them declare the things that are coming, and that will happen.

What does Isaiah 44:7 mean?

This is your own imagination speaking, the only power that calls a thing, declares it, and sets it in order before it appears. To call is to name the state you want as already yours.

MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

This is your own imagination speaking, the only power that calls a thing, declares it, and sets it in order before it appears. To call is to name the state you want as already yours. To declare it is to affirm it against the evidence. To set it in order is to arrange the inner scene so that it implies the wish fulfilled, and then the coming things arrange themselves to match.

No other power stands beside this one. The ancient people were appointed by it, and every event still on its way is being shown from within before it is seen without. A person foretells his future by what he assumes himself to be now, and what he assumes with feeling comes to pass. The imagination in you is the God of Scripture, doing exactly what this passage claims: announcing the end, then bringing the world into agreement with the announcement.

Live Isaiah 44:7 today

  1. On your commute, instead of running tomorrow's worries, say quietly what you want to be true as if it already is, and ride the rest of the way inside that feeling.
  2. With one person today, speak about them as the version of them you want to see, out loud, warmly, before any evidence backs you up.
  3. When a message lands and your stomach drops, do not answer from the drop. Sit a moment, settle into how you would feel if this were already handled, then write from there.

What have I been quietly announcing to myself about how today will go?

Tao Te Ching 41

The great sound is the one no ear catches, and the great form has no shape yet. What is finished within is already acting before anything shows outside.

Yoga Vasistha

The world a person moves through is the long shadow of what his mind has fixed on. Change the inner picture and the outer order reshapes itself to fit.

Stoicism · Epictetus

It is not events that arrange a life but the judgments a person carries about them. Name the state you hold, and you have named what is coming.
