CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY

Clinical Psychology

The predator is not abolished here. His power is transformed into what he chooses to do with it. The wolf keeps his strength and grazes beside the lamb; the lion, still a lion, no longer needs to devour. Capacity for violence remains, harnessed and turned toward peace.

A monster who cannot be dangerous is merely weak, and weakness is no virtue. The vision holds up something harder: the strong made gentle by choice, their teeth intact, their appetite governed. On the holy mountain nothing is destroyed, because the powerful have decided not to. Strength that restrains itself is what makes lasting peace possible.

Live Isaiah 65:25 today

  1. When something online makes your blood rise, write the reply if you need to and then delete it. You had every word ready, and you kept them.
  2. In an argument with someone you love, do not use the thing you know would land hardest. You know exactly what it is, and leaving it unsaid is the whole act.
  3. When you have authority over someone at work and they have given you reason to come down hard, be fair and calm instead. Power that stays steady under provocation is the kind people can live near.

Where could I have hurt someone today and simply chose not to?
