They ask where he lives, expecting an address, a place they can hold in the mind. Instead he offers only an invitation into direct experience.

EGO & BEING
They ask where he lives, expecting an address, a place they can hold in the mind. Instead he offers only an invitation into direct experience. Come and see. You cannot be told what stillness is; you can only enter it and know it for yourself.
So they come, and what they find is not a room but a way of being present. To abide with him is to rest in the aliveness of this moment, undivided by past or future. That is why the hour stays with them. When you are fully here, time stops being a blur and a single afternoon becomes unforgettable, because for once you were actually living it.

MANIFESTATION
The one who says "come and see" is your own imagination, and where it dwells is nowhere outside you. It dwells in the skull, the small round chamber of bone that is the womb of every man, the place where the Word takes root and God is born. To come and see is to turn inward and find that the power you have been looking for in the sky lives in your own awareness of being. Those who came stayed the whole day, because once a person knows this he does not leave it.
The tenth hour is not a time on a clock. Ten completes a cycle and begins the return: the movement forward into flesh has reached its end, and now the journey bends back toward its source. A person who finds where imagination lives has reached that turning. He stops searching outward and begins the way home, which runs through himself and no one else.
Ego v. Being lens
Which part of today will you remember, and why that part?
When you eat, eat. When you walk, walk. The whole teaching is in doing the thing you are already doing.
The cook does not think about the ox. Years of being fully in the work left no gap between him and what his hands were doing.
Do not keep the description of the water. Taste it. What is told to you can be forgotten, what you drank cannot.
