CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY

Christian Psychology

The ego rules the dream of separation and calls itself the master of all it made. It comes to every mind pressing its case, insisting on guilt and fear and the reality of attack. Yet its whole power depends on being believed. Where love is truly chosen, the ego finds nothing to answer it, no fear to seize, no guilt to feed on.

A mind wholly given to love offers the ego no foothold. The accuser still approaches and still makes its claim, but it meets a stillness it cannot disturb, and finds that in such a mind it has nothing at all.

Prince of this world: the ego enthroned as ruler of the dream, the voice of separation that claims the mind as its own.

  1. When the accusing thought shows up, the one that says you are a fraud, let it speak and do not argue. Watch how fast it fades without your agreement.
  2. If someone takes a jab at you today, leave the hook alone. Answer the actual point and skip the part of you that wants to win.
  3. Under real pressure, catch the urge to blame yourself or someone else. Deal with the problem and leave the guilt out of it.

What would an accusation have to find in you to take hold?
