Ego v. Being

Source and expression are not two things.

There is no division inside Being. The sense of separate portions belongs to mind, not to what actually is.

PSYCHOANALYSIS

Psychoanalysis

The Father, the Son, and the Spirit point to one inner reality shown in stages, not to three separate beings. Everything the Father holds belongs also to the Son at the center of the soul, because the two are one life.

The heart of it is the last step. The deeper self holds far more than the waking mind knows, and the Spirit is the living process that carries those buried contents up into awareness. A man who cannot grasp a dream may feel its meaning surface weeks later. Nothing new is added. What the depths always held is finally made known to the mind ready to receive it.

Live John 16:15 today

  1. On your commute today, let the strangers around you be the same life you are, not scenery you move through. Just hold that quietly for a few stops.
  2. In a conversation where you feel on different sides, look for the one thing you both actually want. Say that part out loud first.
  3. When you are competing for credit or budget, feel the urge to carve out your portion and loosen it a little. Ask what serves the whole thing, including you.

Where are you still counting out portions of something that was never divided?
