John 19:19 · World English Bible
Pilate wrote a title also, and put it on the cross. There was written, “JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS.”
The title fixed to the cross names what is being shown, and the cross is the body itself, the upright of head and shoulders and trunk on which a person is stretched out in the flesh. Jesus of Nazareth is the separated one, consciousness lifted out of the carnal into the divine, for Nazareth carries the sense of being set apart and never once appears in the old writings.

ESOTERIC
The title fixed to the cross names what is being shown, and the cross is the body itself, the upright of head and shoulders and trunk on which a person is stretched out in the flesh. Jesus of Nazareth is the separated one, consciousness lifted out of the carnal into the divine, for Nazareth carries the sense of being set apart and never once appears in the old writings. King of the Jews reads through Judah, which is the right hemisphere of the brain, the seat of Christ consciousness and the children of light, so the title declares the divine mind ruling from that side.
The lower, discerning outer mind writes the label without grasping it, yet what it posts on the body is the plain fact: the separated Christ-mind reigning from the right side of the brain.
Cross: the body itself, the upright of head and shoulders and trunk. Nazareth: the separated one, consciousness lifted out of the carnal into the divine. King of the Jews / Judah: the right hemisphere of the brain, seat of Christ consciousness and the children of light. Pilate: the lower, discerning outer mind that labels what it cannot understand.

Who is in charge of me when nobody is naming me?
The real self sits quietly in the body like a rider in a chariot, and it rules whether or not the senses and the mind acknowledge it. The driver who does not know the rider still carries the rider.
Knowing others is one kind of intelligence. Knowing yourself is a light the other kind cannot produce.
The one who looks for the beloved far away was carrying the beloved the whole time. What is sought was never absent, only unrecognized.
