John 4:22 Meaning You Worship That Which You Don’t Know
You worship that which you don’t know. We worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews.

John 4:22 · World English Bible
You worship that which you don’t know. We worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews.
To worship what you do not know is to bow toward some power imagined outside yourself, an external god who might save you. That is worship in the dark.
From the Manifestation reading below.
The same verse, read by one tradition.

MANIFESTATION
To worship what you do not know is to bow toward some power imagined outside yourself, an external god who might save you. That is worship in the dark. To know what you worship is to have found that the creative power is your own imagination, the very I AM you use every waking moment, the spirit that makes real whatever it enters. This is not a foreign deity. It is the awareness of being, and it is God.
Salvation coming from the Jews is not about one people over another. Judah means praise, the turned and thankful state that gives itself to the assumed wish already fulfilled. Deliverance rises out of that inner posture and nowhere else. A person is saved from his circumstances the moment he stops petitioning a stranger in the sky and recognizes the one worshipped as his own imagining. What you worship, rightly known, is yourself.
Manifestation lens
Who have I been waiting to save me from something I am already able to settle?
That which you are seeking as something other turns out to be you. The seeker and the sought dissolve into one awareness.
For thirty years he searched for God, and in the end he found that the one seeking was the one sought, and the looking had been in the wrong direction the whole time.
Stop chasing teachers and holy places. Turn the light around and look at the one doing the looking, for there is nothing missing in it.
