John 7:29 Meaning I Know Him
I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me.

John 7:29 · World English Bible
I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me.
To say I am from him points to something you have forgotten: that you did not create yourself, that you arose out of a formless source and remain joined to it even now. He knows that source not as a distant object but intimately, because it is what he most deeply is.
From the Ego v. Being reading below.
The same verse, read by one tradition.

EGO & BEING
To say I am from him points to something you have forgotten: that you did not create yourself, that you arose out of a formless source and remain joined to it even now. He knows that source not as a distant object but intimately, because it is what he most deeply is.
You cannot know Being the way you know a fact or a face across the room. You know it only by being it, by growing quiet enough to feel the aliveness that is your own presence in this moment. That aliveness is where you came from, and to feel it directly is to know the source that sent you.
Ego v. Being lens
What in me was never made by anything I have done?
You are not separate from what made you. What you are looking for is the one looking.
There is something formless and complete that was there before heaven and earth, and everything returns to it. You are not outside that.
You do not learn water by studying it from the bank. You know it by being in it.
