Only when the mind lifts its own innocence into full sight does it recognize what it truly is. What fear meant for destruction becomes the very moment of knowing, for the awakened Self was never harmed and cannot be, and to raise it up is to see it plainly at last. The mind then understands that this Self does nothing on its own; it acts and speaks only from the love that is its source.
Here is the end of the belief in a separate will. A mind joined with love takes no private authorship of what it says, but lets love teach and speak through it, and in that surrender it finds not a loss of self but the recovery of what it always was.
Son of man: the innocence within the mind, the true Self that fear would harm yet only reveals when it is raised into full sight
The Father: the love that is the mind's source, from which alone the awakened Self speaks and acts
