SELF-HELP
What a person does in the first sixty seconds after a decision determines whether it was ever a decision at all.
Conviction crosses into belief only through the body, and the window for it closes fast. A word lands, a person assigns it meaning, the meaning sets a state, the state pushes toward action, and when no action comes the old identity cools it all back to normal.
Stripping the robe in front of a court that had just watched him wear it cut off the retreat, and the ashes reported back to his own body that the danger was real. Sentiment would have cost him nothing and changed nothing, because an emotion that never becomes movement teaches a person that conviction is optional. Waiting until certainty arrives before acting trains a reflex that will not move when the next warning comes.

What would you do in the next sixty seconds if you already believed what you say you believe?
Understanding that stays in the head is not yet understanding. The body has to be in it, which is why they make you sit.
Do not talk about your principles, show them in what you do. How long will you keep waiting to demand the best of yourself?
The journey of a thousand miles starts under your feet, now, with the next step. Not with the plan for the step.
