Joshua 6:20 Meaning So the People Shouted and the Priests

So the people shouted and the priests blew the trumpets. When the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted with a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight in front of him, and they took the city.

What does Joshua 6:20 mean?

The wall is every circumstance that seems to stand between you and what you want, and it falls not by force but by an assumption held until it is done. The people had already circled the city seven times, and seven is stillness, the unmoved rest of a conviction that no longer argues with appearances.

MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

The wall is every circumstance that seems to stand between you and what you want, and it falls not by force but by an assumption held until it is done. The people had already circled the city seven times, and seven is stillness, the unmoved rest of a conviction that no longer argues with appearances. Out of that quiet rest comes the shout, the inner acclaim of a wish already granted, the feeling of the thing accomplished before a stone has moved.

So the walls come down flat and the city is taken, meaning the conditions crumble and re-form to match the state assumed. Each man goes up straight before him, entering directly the state he claimed. No one knocks his obstacles down. He dwells in the feeling of the fulfilled desire, rests there unshaken, and the outer scene rearranges itself to let him in.

ESOTERIC

Esoteric

Jericho, the moon-city, is the fortified stronghold of the lower psychic and emotional nature, walled against the entry of higher consciousness. The wall is the barrier of resistance a person builds around old habits, and it does not fall to force but to sound. The trumpet is the inner vibration, the raised tone of concentrated spiritual energy sustained by the priestly centers of the body until the frequency of the wall itself breaks. Vibration meets vibration, and the barrier collapses.

Going up into the city, every man straight before him, is the awakened energy rising through the awakened body along its own true line, each force moving directly upward without wandering. The stronghold that seemed impassable dissolves the moment the correct inner sound is held long enough. What guards the lower self is undone by the higher vibration a person learns to raise from within.

Live Joshua 6:20 today

  1. Take the thing blocking you and stop debating it in your head for one whole stretch of the day. Rest in the feeling that it is already handled, and let that be your position.
  2. When a group chat or a family conversation starts circling a problem, be the one who is calm about it. Not cheerful, just not alarmed.
  3. Under pressure today, the deadline, the hard question, the delay, breathe once and refuse to argue with the appearance. Then walk straight at the next step.

What wall have I been pushing on, that might only need me to stop arguing with it?

Sit without arguing with what appears. Stop fighting the wall and it stops being a wall.
