CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY

Christian Psychology

To the mind that felt cheated, Love answers not with rebuke but with a reminder of a fact it had forgotten while it counted its wages. It was never apart, never a servant, never owed anything, because it already possessed everything. The sense of lack that drove its bitterness was pure illusion, a story it told itself while standing in the middle of an abundance that was wholly its own.

This is the correction offered to grievance itself. The mind that believes another's welcome diminishes it is shown that nothing can be taken from what already has all. When a mind truly accepts that it lacks nothing, the whole ground of envy falls away, for one who has everything cannot be robbed by the gladness of another.

Son: the mind that felt itself a hired laborer, addressed as the heir it always was, in unbroken union it only imagined it had lost.

EGO & BEING

Ego v. Being

There is a part of you that believes it must earn its way home, that it must strive and prove and gather before it is allowed to rest. Yet you have never once left. The presence you long for has been with you the whole time, closer than your own breath.

The mind insists something is missing, that fullness waits in some future arrival. It does not. All that is has always been yours, given freely in this very moment. You suffer only because you keep overlooking what you already have.

MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

The father speaking is your own consciousness, and the son who never left is the awareness that was one with it the whole time, though it forgot. This is the elder brother, the part of a person that stayed home yet felt shut out, never grasping that everything was already his. Nothing was ever withheld. The wealth was his by nature, waiting only to be claimed.

All that I have is thine means the state you long for is present and complete now, needing no permission and no proof of worthiness. A person does not travel toward it. He turns and sees that he already holds it, then assumes it as his own. The higher life you want is not earned and not distant. You possess it the instant you stop asking to be given it and simply take it as yours.

Live Luke 15:31 today

  1. Before you open your phone first thing, sit for one minute with the plain fact that nothing has to be added to today for it to be yours. Then open it.
  2. When you feel that small drop in your chest at someone else's good news, a promotion post, a trip, an engagement, send them a real message about it. Watch whether their gain cost you anything you can actually name.
  3. In a tense moment at work where you feel passed over, try the thought: I am not short of anything here. Say less than you planned to and see how the room changes.

If nothing is actually missing, what has my restlessness been about?
