Luke 18:43 Meaning Immediately He Received His Sight and Followed

Immediately he received his sight and followed him, glorifying God. All the people, when they saw it, praised God.

What does Luke 18:43 mean?

Healing is immediate because it corrects nothing but a mistaken choice, and a choice can be reversed the instant it is questioned. There is no long labor of repair, for the mind was whole all along and needed only to withdraw the belief that veiled its sight.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY

Christian Psychology

Healing is immediate because it corrects nothing but a mistaken choice, and a choice can be reversed the instant it is questioned. There is no long labor of repair, for the mind was whole all along and needed only to withdraw the belief that veiled its sight. Correction is quick because guilt was never the truth.

What follows is joy that will not stay hidden. A single mind that has seen its own innocence lightens every mind near it, for healing is shared the moment it is accepted. The people who rejoice are that same recognition spreading outward, because love awakened in one is love awakened in all.

The people: the many aspects of one mind, each gladdened as healing in a single part is recognized as belonging to the whole.

  1. The next time you catch yourself in the old loop of self-blame, drop it mid-sentence. Not after processing it for a week. Right there, at the comma.
  2. Bring your actual good mood to someone instead of flattening it to match the room. Text the friend the thing that delighted you, with no apology for being delighted.
  3. When the day goes wrong at work and the group chat turns to complaint, be the one who does not pile on. Lightness in one person changes the weather for everyone.

What would change today if I believed the shift could happen now, and not after I have suffered enough for it?

Zen

Awakening is sudden because there was nothing to build, only a hand to open. The sun does not rise slowly for the one who finally looks up.

Tao Te Ching 16

Return to stillness and you return at once, not gradually. What was always there needs no time to arrive.
