CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY

Christian Psychology

Faithfulness in the smallest thing opens the mind to far more than it risked. The servant was trusted with almost nothing, and because he did not despise that little but let it grow, he is given charge over cities. This is the law of the miracle: love does not measure the size of the gift you were faithful with, only that you used it truly, and it answers a little willingness with an enlargement the mind could never have arranged for itself.

The cities are not a prize for cleverness but the natural widening of a mind that let love work through even one small thing. Begin where you are, with what you have, and you will find that faithfulness in a little was always the door to everything.

Servant: the part of the mind that proves willing by using what it was given Cities: the reaches of the mind now brought under love's gentle order, the widened influence granted to faithfulness

  1. Do the smallest undone thing well today, the dish, the reply, the five minute errand, with your full attention instead of half of it while you scroll.
  2. Keep one tiny promise you made to someone and could easily let slide. Send the link, make the call, bring the thing you said you would bring.
  3. When you are behind and tempted to rush the unimportant part to get to the important part, slow down on the unimportant part. That is the one nobody is watching.

What small thing have I been doing carelessly because I decided it did not count?

The great is accomplished in small acts. Handle the difficult while it is still easy, the large while it is still small.
