What does Luke 19:9 mean?

Salvation comes not as a change in circumstance but as the mind's recognition of what it always was. It arrives the very day love is welcomed, for it was never withheld and only awaited acceptance.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY

Christian Psychology

Salvation comes not as a change in circumstance but as the mind's recognition of what it always was. It arrives the very day love is welcomed, for it was never withheld and only awaited acceptance. Nothing needed to be added to the house; a light already there was simply uncovered.

To be called a son of Abraham is to be reminded of an inheritance that guilt could obscure but never cancel. The mind belongs to love by its very nature, and no history of fear undoes that belonging. Salvation is not earned today; it is remembered, for the self that seemed lost was always a child of love pretending otherwise.

The house: the mind now open to love, the dwelling where salvation is recognized as having always belonged. Son of Abraham: the mind's true lineage in love, the inheritance of innocence that fear could veil but never revoke.

  1. Before the phone, before the list, give yourself one minute of nothing and let it be true that you are fine as you are. Not improved. Just fine.
  2. Tell someone close to you what you love about them that has nothing to do with what they do for anyone. Let them hear their worth without a reason attached.
  3. On a day you are failing at something that matters, do not let the failure rewrite who you are. Lost the account, lost your temper, still the same person underneath.

What if the thing I am working so hard to deserve has been mine the whole time?
