A mind held in the certainty of love is not left to face fear on its own strength, for love has already prayed the outcome true. Faith here is not belief against the odds; it is the memory of what cannot fail, quietly kept for a mind that has forgotten it for a moment.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY
A mind held in the certainty of love is not left to face fear on its own strength, for love has already prayed the outcome true. Faith here is not belief against the odds; it is the memory of what cannot fail, quietly kept for a mind that has forgotten it for a moment. And the healing does not end in the one who is healed. The moment a mind turns back toward love, it becomes a light for every other mind still wavering, because what is restored in one is offered to all.
So the reader learns that recovery is never private. A mind that finds its way home does not keep the way to itself; it strengthens its brothers simply by having remembered, and that remembering spreads.
Brethren: the other minds joined to this one, who are strengthened the instant it turns back toward love

SUFISM
Himma: the concentrated care one person aims at another Himma names attention turned toward someone else with full weight behind it. A person about to come apart can be carried by care they never asked for and did not feel arriving. The help gets there before the trouble does, so the fall has a floor under it, and the person usually sees this only long afterward.
O Turner of hearts, keep my heart firm in Your religion: steadiness comes from being held The Prophet asked this often, in those words. Confidence in one's own footing tends to give way first, and usually right when a person is surest of it. Someone who has prayed this way still stumbles, but the stumble does not feel like the end, because they never thought the standing was their own doing.
Tawba: turning back Tawba means coming back after going the wrong way. The heaviest part arrives after the failure, in the quiet certainty that you have used up your place and cannot return. A person who turns back stops arguing about what they did and simply comes home, and the way home stays open.
Tamkīn: settled firmness Tamkīn is the steadiness that shows up once a person's swings between confidence and collapse have worn out. Someone who has already failed at the thing they were proudest of has little left to guard, and the guarding was the unsteady part. Their footing stops depending on a good day or a good mood.
Ṣuḥba: keeping company on the road Ṣuḥba is the plain work of traveling alongside other people. Someone who has gone down and come back can hold up another person's shaky faith in a way the never shaken never manage. They speak from the same ground rather than from above it, and being met by someone who knows that ground is what steadies a person.

SELF-HELP
A failure given a job in advance cannot become the thing a person decides they are.
Assigning a failure its use before it arrives changes what the failure is allowed to build. A man told beforehand that his collapse is training meets it as training, and that reading holds his state and puts him back among people instead of into hiding.
Jesus prays for the faith rather than the circumstance, because belief is the link that breaks first, and a man can fail an action and still keep the belief that turns him back. A failure left unassigned hardens into a verdict on the man himself, and a man under that verdict has nothing to hand the brothers who need steadying.
Christian Psychology lens
Who got you through something, and who is quietly waiting for you to do the same for them?
The one who has found the way does not hoard it. Holding nothing back is what keeps the spring flowing.
The point of waking up is not a private escape. Whatever clarity you find you carry back for everyone still caught in the fog.
Saving one life is spoken of as saving a whole world, because no one is ever only themselves.
