Luke 23:32 · World English Bible
There were also others, two criminals, led with him to be put to death.
The 2 led out to die are the 2 eyes, the unregenerated pituitary and pineal, the deceiving pair that must be surrendered so the single eye can see. They are called malefactors because ordinary sight steals from a person, robbing the inner light by scattering attention outward.

ESOTERIC
The 2 led out to die are the 2 eyes, the unregenerated pituitary and pineal, the deceiving pair that must be surrendered so the single eye can see. They are called malefactors because ordinary sight steals from a person, robbing the inner light by scattering attention outward. Led with him means they go up the spine together as the energy rises, and both are brought to death at the top so that the one eye, the Christ, opens alone in the center. The number 2 is the number of secrets, and the pair marks a hidden anatomy, not a courtyard of criminals.
Death here is the release of the angle of light from the body, the letting go of the 2 outer sights. What deceives is put down. The single eye is left seeing.
Malefactors: the 2 eyes, the unregenerated pituitary and pineal that deceive and steal the inner light 2: the number of secrets, the mark of a hidden anatomy within the head
Esoteric lens
How much of your attention today went somewhere you never chose to send it?
Too many colors blind the eye, too many sounds deafen the ear. What is given to us to look at can rob us of the seeing itself.
As a tortoise draws its limbs inside its shell, the steady person draws the senses back from the things they chase. Nothing is lost by that; the light comes home.
Close these two eyes, and the other eye opens. The seeing that matters begins where the usual looking stops.
