Mark 10:49 · World English Bible
Jesus stood still, and said, “Call him.” They called the blind man, saying to him, “Cheer up! Get up. He is calling you!”
First he stood still. Before anything else happens, before the blind man is even reached, there is stillness, and in that stillness lives a power the restless world cannot imagine.

EGO & BEING
First he stood still. Before anything else happens, before the blind man is even reached, there is stillness, and in that stillness lives a power the restless world cannot imagine. The one who cannot see is every human being who moves through life without truly seeing, lost in the dark of unconsciousness.
And then comes the call. Be of good comfort, rise; he calls you. This is the invitation that awakens you from within, not a demand to try harder or become someone new, but a summons to stand up out of a sleep you did not know you were in. When you finally answer, you rise not by struggling to fix yourself but simply by waking up, becoming aware and present where a moment before you were lost in the dark.
Ego v. Being lens
Where in your day have you been moving without really seeing?
The stillness at the center is where real power lives. The one who stays quiet and unhurried can act when the restless and busy cannot.
Awakening is not building a better self, it is waking from a dream you did not know you were having. Nothing is added, the eyes simply open.
The teaching calls out to the sleeper: arise, awake. What you are looking for is already here, hidden only by the dark of not seeing.
