CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY
Before any instruction on how to live comes the single truth from which the rest follow: reality is one, not two. The ego survives by splitting, by setting a self against a world and a God against a devil, and every quarrel it stages rehearses that first division.
To hear that the source of all things is one is to be told the split was never real. A mind that grasps this stops defending its borders, because there is no second thing to fear. Oneness is not a rule to obey but the fact beneath the noise, and remembering it is where peace begins.

MANIFESTATION
Hear, O Israel means listen, you who wrestle with God from within. The Lord your God is one, and that oneness is the whole point. All the powers and persons scattered through the world are one being, one I AM, broken into countless pieces and dreaming it is many. Nothing stands outside of it to be pleaded with or feared.
To believe in a god somewhere out beyond you is to look away from the only presence there is, and the old writers called that harlotry, the soul chasing a stranger. The Lord who is one is the awareness of being in you, the sense that you exist, saying I AM. When you hold to that as the single source, everything becomes possible, because all things are gathered back into the one you already are. The first command is not a rule about worship. It tells you where the whole of God is: awake inside you as your own I AM.
Christian Psychology lens
How much of today's tension comes from believing there are two sides where there is only one life?
There is one reality, and the many names are only ways of calling it. The wise see the same thing wherever they look.
The one became two, and from the two came the whole quarrelling world. Returning to the one is not a rule, it is the end of taking sides.
Wherever you turn your face, that is the one face. There is no second thing standing outside it to defend yourself against.
