CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY

Christian Psychology

The moment willingness meets love, the long draining of the self is stopped at its source. What had bled away for years, the slow loss of life to fear, simply ends, because the belief that fed it has been set down. Healing is not gradual once the mind consents, for an illusion holds only as long as it is chosen.

The change is felt at once and felt within, since the correction was always a correction of the mind and never of the flesh. The body seems to register what the mind has accepted, but it is the thought of lack that has ceased, not merely a symptom. When a mind stops pouring itself into the belief in suffering, the suffering has nothing left to draw upon and quietly is over.

Fountain of her blood: the ceaseless draining of life to fear, the wound of the mind that empties a self until willingness stops it at the source Plague: the belief in suffering that seemed to afflict from outside yet was held in place only by the mind's own choice

  1. Pick the one worry you have been feeding all week and simply stop tending it for an hour. No research, no checking, no replaying. See what is left when you stop pouring into it.
  2. If you have been holding a grudge against someone, let the next message from them be answered warmly. You do not need a conversation about it, just a different reply.
  3. When your body is wrung out mid-afternoon, put the phone face down and let your shoulders drop for two minutes. Rest is not something you earn at the end, it is available now.

What have I been pouring myself into that would quietly end if I stopped?
