Mark 5:30 · World English Bible

Mark 5:30 Meaning Immediately Jesus

Immediately Jesus, perceiving in himself that the power had gone out from him, turned around in the crowd, and asked, “Who touched my clothes?”

What does Mark 5:30 mean?

Jesus here is your own consciousness, whatever in you saves you from your problem, and the virtue going out of him is the power that flows the instant a desire is touched by attention and felt to be your own. A longing only appears dead; give it your feeling and it draws life out of you and stands up alive.

MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

Jesus here is your own consciousness, whatever in you saves you from your problem, and the virtue going out of him is the power that flows the instant a desire is touched by attention and felt to be your own. A longing only appears dead; give it your feeling and it draws life out of you and stands up alive. That is the touch. Something in the crowd of your own states reached out, believed, and drew on you, and you know at once by the sense of relief that the thing is done.

The crowd pressing round is the noise of every rival state clamoring for notice, yet only the one that touched in faith drew power. Successful prayer feels exactly like this, a quiet satisfaction that ends the hunger for the thing wanted. When you feel that virtue has gone out of you, the desire has already been answered, and the world has only to catch up.

Live Mark 5:30 today

  1. Take the one thing you actually want, not the ten you half want, and give it two quiet minutes of your full attention. Feel what it's like to have it, then let it go and make dinner.
  2. In a conversation today, give one person your whole attention for five minutes. No phone in your hand, no half listening. That kind of touch is what moves things, and you'll both feel it.
  3. In a meeting where a dozen things are shouting for your focus, pick the one that matters and let the rest press past. You can only give your power to one, so choose it on purpose.

Of everything pulling at you right now, which one would you actually reach out and touch?
