MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

They answer that Christ is David's son, and the question exposes what they have missed. David is no ancestor left behind in the bloodline. David is the whole human race gathered into one figure, and out of that figure the Son awakens. So the order runs the other way. When a man comes to the end of his long journey, David appears within him and calls him Father. That is the sign the journey is finished. The awakened one never descended from humanity. He is God the Father, raising David, all of mankind, up out of himself. Christ is the Father who wakes inside a person and lifts the sleeper into his own life. The son who was expected turns out to be the parent of us all.

ESOTERIC

Esoteric

The Christ is not a man of the past but the anointed consciousness born within, and to call it son of David is to trace it back through a root that means beloved, the awakened self descending from the line of the loved and chosen inner nature. The question of whose son he is turns the mind from history toward origin: the Christ arises from a heritage inside the person, not from a family in a distant land. David, the beloved, is the seed of that higher birth carried in the blood of every seeker.

The anointed state comes up out of the beloved ground within, so its lineage is not a family tree but the inner ancestry of the awakening self.

Christ: the anointed consciousness born within a person, not a figure of past history David: the beloved, the root of love and chosenness in the inner nature from which the higher self descends Son: the offspring born of an inward line, the awakened self springing from its source rather than from a family

Live Matthew 22:42 today

  1. Today, when you catch yourself waiting for someone with more authority to tell you what is true about your life, stop and ask what you actually know. Trust that answer for one decision.
  2. With your kid, your partner, or a friend who looks up to you, let yourself be the steady one on purpose for ten minutes. No performance, just being the one the room can lean on.
  3. When the pressure comes and you feel small, drop the search for a rescuer. Stand where you are and act as though the thing you were waiting for is already looking out of your eyes.

What would you stop waiting for if the one you were waiting for was you?
