MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

The puzzle here is how David, the supposed ancestor, could call his own descendant Lord, and the answer dissolves the whole idea of literal fathers and sons. David is not one dead king. David is the entire human race, the collective of everyone, out of whom the awakened self comes forth. When that self appears within a person, David turns and calls him Lord, meaning Father, and the ordering of ancestor and heir is reversed.

So the sign has already been reached by anyone in whom this stirs. The awareness saying I am in you is the Lord that all of humanity, personified as David, addresses as its own source. You are not the offspring of the race waiting on a savior from elsewhere. Within you the Son comes out of the multitude, and the multitude names you what you are. The Father a person has been looking for is the awareness looking out of his own eyes.

The riddle put to the learned men dissolves the whole notion of bloodline. If the disciplined inner king who guards the higher kingdom calls the Christ his Lord, the Christ cannot be a later descendant of that king. The anointing that rises in a person is older than the body it wakes in, present before the line it seems to come from.

David stands for the watchful faculty that wars against the flesh to protect what is holy within, and even that vigilant power names the Christ-consciousness higher than itself. So the one who seems to arrive last in the family of the self was already there first, never inherited down a line but woken from within.

Live Matthew 22:43 today

  1. Sit for a minute today with nothing but the plain sense that you exist, no name, no job, no history. That quiet I am is the thing all the searching was about.
  2. When someone asks you for help today, give it without checking whether you are qualified. Answer as the one who can, not the one hoping someone better shows up.
  3. In a hard moment, when you want someone above you to come fix it, stay put and speak from the awareness already here. You are not waiting on the Father, you are the one looking out.

If the source you keep looking up for is looking out of your own eyes, what changes about today?
