CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY

Clinical Psychology

The servant buried what he was given and called it caution. His master names it wickedness dressed as prudence. Failing to develop your talents is a betrayal of the potential entrusted to you, and the refusal hides behind the mask of playing it safe.

He even understood the demanding nature of the one he served, and used that understanding as his excuse to do nothing. Fear can always find a reason. But the gift withheld from the world rots in the ground. Every talent was meant to be risked and multiplied, not hidden away.

Live Matthew 25:26 today

  1. Pick the thing you have been meaning to do for months and give it twenty minutes today, badly. Done poorly beats buried.
  2. Tell one person what you have been sitting on. Saying it out loud makes it harder to keep hiding it.
  3. In the meeting where you have an idea but the room feels unfriendly, say it anyway, plainly, once. Silence costs more than you think.

What have I been calling caution that is really fear?

Pirkei Avot

The work is not yours to finish, but you are not free to walk away from it. Being unable to do everything is no excuse for doing nothing.
