Matthew 26:29 Meaning But I Tell You That I Will
But I tell you that I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on, until that day when I drink it anew with you in my Father’s Kingdom.

Matthew 26:29 · World English Bible
But I tell you that I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on, until that day when I drink it anew with you in my Father’s Kingdom.
The bread and wine of communion point to an inner union rather than a ritual meal, so the withheld cup is the higher self declaring that the true drinking waits for the meditative meeting inside, in the kingdom of consciousness within. The fruit of the vine is the spirit the inner life produces, and it is not taken again in the old outward way but tasted new when a person reaches that interior union.

ESOTERIC
The bread and wine of communion point to an inner union rather than a ritual meal, so the withheld cup is the higher self declaring that the true drinking waits for the meditative meeting inside, in the kingdom of consciousness within. The fruit of the vine is the spirit the inner life produces, and it is not taken again in the old outward way but tasted new when a person reaches that interior union.
The Father's kingdom is not a place beyond the sky but the still realm of consciousness within the head, and the wine drunk new there is the fresh experience of spirit met directly, no longer through the outer form.
Fruit of the vine: the spirit the inner life produces, tasted new in meditative union rather than in outward ritual Vine: the inner spirit that gives rise to the wine, the living source behind the cup Father's kingdom: the still realm of consciousness within the head, where spirit is met directly
Esoteric lens
What have I been doing outwardly for years without ever tasting it from the inside?
Tea drunk in the ceremony is only tea, and the whole point is the one drinking it. The form is a cup, never the thing in the cup.
He says he spent years knocking at a door only to learn he had been knocking from the inside. The wine he wanted was never served at an outer table.
Ritual offerings have their place, but the offering made in knowledge is higher. What is poured outwardly only points to what is met within.
