CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY

Christian Psychology

The hand of love is always extended, and it is the mind, not love, that turns away. What sounds like reproach describes how the ego works. It hears the call and answers no, because acceptance would end separation, and separation is the one thing it means to keep. The hand asks nothing and threatens nothing, yet a frightened mind sees a demand where there is only an offer.

Nothing was ever taken from such a mind. It stood beside an open help and looked past it, because to take the hand would mean admitting it had never truly been alone.

Hand: the constant offer of love held out to the mind, help always present that asks nothing to be received

Live Proverbs 1:24 today

  1. Say yes to one offer of help you would normally wave off today. The ride, the extra set of hands, the friend who asked if you are okay.
  2. Text someone back who reached out and got silence from you. One line is enough. You know which message it is.
  3. When you are underwater at work and someone asks what they can take off your plate, name something real instead of saying you are fine. Saying it out loud costs less than carrying it.

Whose offer have you been looking past because taking it would mean admitting you needed it?
