Proverbs 10:29 Meaning The Way of Yahweh Is a Stronghold
The way of Yahweh is a stronghold to the upright, but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity.

Proverbs 10:29 · World English Bible
The way of Yahweh is a stronghold to the upright, but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity.
The path love lays out is not a demand but a support, and the mind that walks it discovers strength it did not have to manufacture, because it has set down the weight of a world it thought it had to defend. To move as love moves is to be held, and being held is where the strength comes from.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY
The path love lays out is not a demand but a support, and the mind that walks it discovers strength it did not have to manufacture, because it has set down the weight of a world it thought it had to defend. To move as love moves is to be held, and being held is where the strength comes from.
The same path feels like ruin to a mind still committed to guilt, for love asks that separation be given up, and to the ego that surrender looks like death. Yet nothing is destroyed but the belief that harm was ever real. What breaks apart is only the fear, and the mind that lets it break finds it was standing on solid ground all along.
LORD: the presence of love whose way becomes strength the moment the mind consents to walk it. Upright: the part of the mind aligned with truth, upheld rather than burdened by love's path. Workers of iniquity: the mind laboring to keep guilt alive, meeting only the collapse of what was never true.

What am I holding up with both arms that was never mine to carry?
What is soft and yielding survives, while what is rigid breaks. Strength that comes from not resisting outlasts the strength that comes from bracing.
Krishna tells Arjuna to lay down his separate striving and act as part of something larger, and that this surrender is the end of fear rather than the loss of himself. What is given up is only the illusion of standing alone.
Rumi writes that the breaking open of the heart is how the light gets in, and that what feels like ruin is the wall coming down. Nothing real was in the wall.
