Proverbs 10:30 Meaning The Righteous Will Never Be Removed

The righteous will never be removed, but the wicked will not dwell in the land.

What does Proverbs 10:30 mean?

What is grounded in love cannot be dislodged, because love is what the mind is, and a thing cannot be moved out of its own nature. The peace of choosing the right teacher is not a possession that could be taken; it is a return to what was never really left, and nothing can evict a mind from itself.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY

Christian Psychology

What is grounded in love cannot be dislodged, because love is what the mind is, and a thing cannot be moved out of its own nature. The peace of choosing the right teacher is not a possession that could be taken; it is a return to what was never really left, and nothing can evict a mind from itself.

Guilt, by contrast, finds no lasting home in the mind's true country. It may seem to settle for a while, but it is a stranger there, and the ground of reality will not finally hold it. When the mind wakes, guilt has no place to stand, not because it is cast out in anger but because it was never a real inhabitant. Only love belongs where the mind actually lives.

Righteous: the mind rooted in love, unmovable because it rests in its own nature. Wicked: the belief in guilt, a stranger that can never make a lasting home in the truth of the mind. Earth: the ground of what is real, the mind's true country where only love abides.

  1. When you are alone and an old regret shows up, let it sit there without arguing with it. It is a visitor, not a resident, and you do not have to hand it the keys.
  2. With someone you love, say one true thing that costs you nothing to say. Watch how the warmth between you was not created by the words, it was just uncovered.
  3. In the middle of a hard meeting or a message that lands wrong, put your feet flat on the floor and remember that nothing being said can reach the part of you that is actually home.

What in me have I been treating as fragile, when it may be the one thing that cannot be taken?

Return to the root and you stand in what does not shift. Everything else rises and passes, but the one who has come home to the source is steady through all of it.

Bhagavad Gita 2

What truly is cannot be destroyed, and what is not has no real existence. Grief comes from confusing the two, from mourning a loss that never touched the self.
