Proverbs 11:25 Meaning The Liberal Soul Shall Be Made Fat

The liberal soul shall be made fat. He who waters shall be watered also himself.

What does Proverbs 11:25 mean?

A mind that pours out blessing is not depleted by it but filled, because in the giving it remembers what it is. To bless another is to see him as innocent, and that same sight returns to rest on the one who offered it, for no mind can hold another in light and stand in darkness itself.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY

Christian Psychology

A mind that pours out blessing is not depleted by it but filled, because in the giving it remembers what it is. To bless another is to see him as innocent, and that same sight returns to rest on the one who offered it, for no mind can hold another in light and stand in darkness itself. This is not reward for generosity. It is the simple law that the perception a mind extends is the perception it lives inside, so the one who waters is standing in the very stream he sends.

What is given in love is never lost. It circles back and finds the giver already inside its blessing.

Watereth: the mind that extends love and healing to another, and by that very reaching is renewed at its own root.

SELF-HELP

Self-Help

The supply a generous person lives on is produced by the giving itself, never handed back afterward as payment.

Watering another life occupies the attention scarcity needs to stay alive, and the state changes the moment that attention is busy elsewhere. An abundant state produces generous action, generous action builds people who show up, and those people compound into a life that keeps arriving full.

Withholding runs the same machine backwards. Guarding a small store confirms the belief that it is small, the belief contracts the state, and the contraction produces more guarding. Whoever waits to feel full before pouring waits out the whole of a life.

Live Proverbs 11:25 today

  1. Before you open your email, think of one person and genuinely wish them a good day. See how differently you read the first few messages.
  2. Tell someone today the good thing you usually only think about them, the coworker who covered for you, the friend who always replies. Say it plainly and watch what it does to your own mood.
  3. On a hard commute or a long line, pick the person who is most annoying you and silently wish them something good, a light day, a bit of relief. You are not excusing them, you are choosing the air you breathe.

When I last blessed someone without being asked, who ended up carrying it?
