Revelation 1:6 Meaning And He Made Us to Be

and he made us to be a Kingdom, priests to his God and Father—to him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

What does Revelation 1:6 mean?

To be made kings and priests is to stop being anyone's subject and to climb, in one's own person, up onto the throne. Both titles point the same way: not 2 offices but one ascent, the whole self rising into its reigning consciousness, the single eye awake in the middle of the head where a person governs from within instead of kneeling to something outside.

The Father here is the right hemisphere, the higher mind, and the glory and dominion that last forever belong to that changeless watcher a person actually is, the awareness that never alters while everything it beholds comes and goes. Amen seals it in the name of the old sun that rises. A human being is not born to serve a distant power but to wake up and take the seat that was always theirs.

Kings and priests: the 2 names for one ascent, the self rising to reign from its own throne rather than serve Throne: the higher human consciousness, the changeless place within from which a person governs their whole being Single eye: the pineal gland, the awakened center in the middle of the head where the reigning awareness opens Amen: Amen-Ra, the old Egyptian sun god, the risen light sealed into the word that closes the passage

Live Revelation 1:6 today

  1. Before you unlock your phone this morning, sit for one minute and let the day be yours rather than the inbox's. Decide the first thing, instead of being told it.
  2. When someone's opinion of you lands today, a comment, a tone, a silence, feel it and then stay where you are. Their read on you is information, not a verdict you have to sign.
  3. In the meeting or the hard conversation, keep one hand on the fact that the part of you watching is calm and has not moved. Speak from there, even if your voice shakes.

Whose approval have you quietly been asking permission from?

Stoicism · Epictetus

No one can make you their subject without your consent, because the place where you choose is inside you and no one else can reach it.

Zen

The teacher said that you are already what you are looking for, and the searching outside is the only thing standing in the way.

Advaita Vedanta

The witness in you never changes while every thought and mood passes in front of it. That unchanging watcher is not something you earn, it is what you are.
