Revelation 16:21 Meaning Great Hailstones

Great hailstones, about the weight of a talent, came down out of the sky on people. People blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, for this plague is exceedingly severe.

What does Revelation 16:21 mean?

Hail is solid water, truth in a hardened form heavy enough to break a person, and it falls out of heaven, the high field above, as the incoming energy of the age strikes the human system. Each stone weighs a talent because the truth arrives with full force, no longer soft rain but frozen mass, and it lands on the ego to shatter what the lower nature built.

The plague is the killing of that ego, and the cursing of God is the lower self raging as it dies, blaming the higher power for the very break that frees it. The pineal gland, the stone within the head, is where this descending energy gathers and does its work.

What feels like a disaster striking from above is the truth landing hard enough to end the old self. The screaming against it is the ego's last voice, mistaking its own dissolution for an attack.

Hail: solid water, truth in hardened form heavy enough to break a person Heaven: the high field above, the source of the descending energy of the age Stone: the pineal gland in the head, where the incoming energy gathers Plague: the killing of the ego, the dying-off of the lower self

  1. Reread a piece of criticism you brushed off and sit with the possibility that it was accurate. The sting is information, not an attack.
  2. When someone tells you something hard about yourself today, say only this: let me think about that. No case, no counterexample, nothing added.
  3. Under pressure, watch for the voice that insists this is unfair and that you are the one being wronged. Let it talk, and do not let it decide what you do next.

What truth have I been calling cruel because of how much it costs me to accept it?

A hard teaching lands like a blow and the student's first response is anger. The anger is the self that was just contradicted, raising its voice on the way out.

What you call ruin is often the rent being paid for a better house. The part that screams at the demolition is the part that was never going to move on its own.
