Hell is real, and the possibility of losing God forever is what makes human freedom serious rather than decorative. A choice that could never end badly would not be a choice at all.

The image of a written name says that belonging to God is personal and definite, not a vague average of a life. Yet God is not scanning for reasons to exclude. Damnation is the ratification of a refusal a person has kept making, a door held shut from the inside until the end. Fear alone is a poor motive and the Church has never been content with it, but honest fear can start someone moving toward the love that eventually replaces it.

The book of life is not a ledger kept in heaven. It is the spine itself, the code written within the body, the human genome sealed with the 7 nerve centers, and to be found written there is to have the energy risen through those seals to the pineal at the crown. Whatever in a person has not made that ascent, whatever remains only in the appetites and never turns inward, has no place in that inner record.

Such a state is given to the fire, the burning current in the body that consumes it. What harms the awakening self is what burns; only the raw desire-nature is spent in that heat, and the personality is freed from it.

Live Revelation 20:15 today

  1. Name the one habit you keep excusing, the scrolling, the drinking, the thing you do when nobody is around. Say it plainly to yourself without the usual explanation attached.
  2. Open the door you have been holding shut with one person, the unanswered text, the apology you owe. Send it today, short and without conditions.
  3. When you feel yourself hardening, in the argument, in the traffic, in the comment you are about to leave, stop and soften one degree. That is the whole choice, repeated.
