One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, who were loaded with the seven last plagues came, and he spoke with me, saying, “Come here. I will show you the wife, the Lamb’s bride.”
The bride is the purified soul made ready within, and the Lamb is the higher nature that comes to be joined to it. Their marriage is the oil of the pituitary rising through the spine to meet and quicken the pineal point, the divine mind wedded to the still center in the head.

This is the union the whole vision has been driving toward, now complete.
The angel who has finished pouring the 7 is simply the one who now turns and points to what all that climbing was for. New Jerusalem is no distant golden town but the awakened head itself, where the bride and the higher self are made one inside a living person.

What in me is already prepared and waiting, and what would it mean to finally say yes to it?
The inner life is pictured as a bride and bridegroom meeting, the energy coiled at the base of the spine rising to join the still awareness at the crown. The whole point of the practice is that wedding inside one body.
The soul is the lover and the divine is the beloved, and they were never two to begin with. The longing you feel is the beloved already calling from inside you.
The old Taoist adepts spoke of marrying fire and water inside the body, the heart's energy drawn down and the base energy drawn up until they meet and settle. What results is not a feeling but a new stability of being.
