Revelation 22:1 Meaning He Showed Me a River of Water

There is a life that flows beneath your life, a current of pure aliveness that has nothing to do with your circumstances or your story. It is clear as crystal because it is untouched by thought, older than every problem the mind has ever produced.

This river flows out of the Source of all things, the formless depth that some call God, and it is not waiting for you in a distant paradise. It moves through you now, in the simple aliveness of your own presence. Whenever you grow still and feel the life within your body in this moment, you are drinking from that river, because its source is presence itself, and presence is always available to you.

The river of life is the living current of divine energy, clear as crystal because it carries no muddying of the senses, and it flows from the throne of God, the single eye and pineal seat where the higher mind rules. This is Eden and paradise, not a garden far away but a country inside the human head. The current pours from that ruling seat and runs down through the body to renew and restore it, the very stream Scripture places at the center of a person. Where the mind is enthroned in stillness, its bright water moves through the whole frame and washes the flesh clean, and the paradise religion looks for outside is found within the skull.
