Revelation 22:6 Meaning He Said to Me

He said to me, “These words are faithful and true. The Lord God of the spirits of the prophets sent his angel to show to his bondservants the things which must happen soon.”

What does Revelation 22:6 mean?

What is faithful and true is not a promise about distant events but the report of the inner messenger, the higher awareness that carries word from the ruling spirit down to the lower faculties that serve it. The angel is that carrying power within, the flash of understanding that brings the mind news of what is happening in the deeper self.

What is faithful and true is not a promise about distant events but the report of the inner messenger, the higher awareness that carries word from the ruling spirit down to the lower faculties that serve it. The angel is that carrying power within, the flash of understanding that brings the mind news of what is happening in the deeper self. Shortly means near, close at hand, inside the person now rather than far off in time, for the whole account describes a transformation unfolding in the body of the one who reads.

The things shown are the changes already stirring in a person once the inner light begins to move, and the messenger simply makes them known to the parts of the self awake enough to receive them.

Live Revelation 22:6 today

  1. When a quiet hunch shows up today, that small sense of this is off or this matters, write it in your notes app instead of letting it pass. Those flashes are easy to lose and hard to get back.
  2. Tell one person something true that you have been sitting on for a while, kindly and without buildup. The message you keep deferring is usually the one that was ready.
  3. In a stressful moment, when your mind jumps ahead to how badly next week could go, bring it back to the single next thing in front of you. The thing actually asking for you is always near, not far off.

What have I been quietly hearing from myself and treating as not urgent yet?

The teaching points at the moon, and the mistake is to study the finger. What is being pointed at is already here, not somewhere ahead of you.

He writes that we suffer more in imagination than in reality, because we keep living in a future that has not arrived. The real material of a life is what is at hand right now.

The inner witness is described as seated in the heart of every being, closer than any outside counsel. Guidance is not sent from a distance, it is already resident.
