Revelation 6:1 Meaning I Saw That the Lamb Opened One
I saw that the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, as with a voice of thunder, “Come and see!”

Revelation 6:1 · World English Bible
I saw that the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, as with a voice of thunder, “Come and see!”
The opening of a seal is the unlocking of a center within, a wheel of force sealed at the base of the spine until the innocence in a person breaks it. The Lamb is that innocence, the unspent life that alone can loosen what has been shut.

ESOTERIC
The opening of a seal is the unlocking of a center within, a wheel of force sealed at the base of the spine until the innocence in a person breaks it. The Lamb is that innocence, the unspent life that alone can loosen what has been shut. Thunder is the sound the awakened current makes as it stirs, the low roll heard in the ears when the inner power begins to move. The 4 beasts are the 4 elements of the body, earth, water, air, and fire, standing at the corners of the flesh, and one of them calls the awareness inward to look at what is rising.
What unfolds here is not the end of a distant world but the first stage of an inner ascent, a locked reservoir of energy released and announced by the body's own faculties.
The Lamb: the untouched innocence in a person, the pure life-force that alone can open the sealed centers Seal: a sealed center of energy in the body, shut until the awakening power breaks it Thunder: the rolling sound the roused inner current makes as it climbs The 4 beasts: the 4 elements, earth, water, air, and fire, that build the body and stand guard at its corners

What has started in me that I have been too embarrassed to call a beginning?
The teaching describes energy coiled at the base of the spine, waking and climbing as awareness deepens. The first stirring is felt, not theorized.
Zen speaks of a first glimpse, a crack of light, that is a beginning and not an arrival. Many stages follow, each with its own work.
In Taoist teaching the thousand-mile journey starts with one step, and the step is small and ordinary. Great openings begin quietly.
