Genesis 1:6 · World English Bible
God said, “Let there be an expanse in the middle of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”
God speaking is your own awareness of being, and the firmament it sets in the midst is the fixed conviction it draws through the fluid of your mind. The waters are consciousness before it has settled, thought still shapeless and able to become anything.
From the Manifestation reading below.

MANIFESTATION
God speaking is your own awareness of being, and the firmament it sets in the midst is the fixed conviction it draws through the fluid of your mind. The waters are consciousness before it has settled, thought still shapeless and able to become anything. To divide the waters from the waters is to make a firm distinction where none existed, to lift one assumption into solid conviction and let the rest fall away. The firm sky above and the loose waters below are the belief you have made certain and the possibilities you have not.
This is how any state comes into being. A person's awareness moves over the undecided material of his own mind and fixes on one thing as so, and that fixing is the creative word. What was merely possible becomes settled ground overhead, and the world forms beneath it. You become what you steadily imagine yourself to be, because the assumption you make firm divides your one substance into a definite fact.
Manifestation lens
Where in your life are you still keeping every option open because deciding would make it real?
From the nameless and undivided, names arise, and once named, the ten thousand things take their places. The cut you make in the formless is where the world begins.
The mind that wavers in every direction reaches nothing. Settled on one thing, held steady, it becomes a firm seat from which everything else is ordered.
Hillel asks, if I am not for myself, who will be, and if not now, when? The decision has to be made by you, and made now, or it is never made at all.
