Isaiah 55:1 · World English Bible

Isaiah 55:1 Meaning Hey

Hey! Come, everyone who thirsts, to the waters! Come, he who has no money, buy, and eat! Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

What does Isaiah 55:1 mean?

The waters are the unformed states of consciousness, freely open to anyone who thirsts for a change in his life. Having no money means the creative power in a person was never for sale and never depended on his outer means.

MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

The waters are the unformed states of consciousness, freely open to anyone who thirsts for a change in his life. Having no money means the creative power in a person was never for sale and never depended on his outer means. Wine and milk are the finished satisfactions, the joy and the nourishment of the fulfilled wish, and they are had without price because imagination costs nothing but the assuming.

To buy without money is to take a desired state simply by feeling it to be so, giving nothing but attention and belief. The thirst is the desire itself. It already seeks its own embodiment. Whatever a person accepts inwardly as already so, he receives, and no coin or condition stands between him and it.

Live Isaiah 55:1 today

  1. Instead of scrolling for something to want, sit with one thing you already want and let yourself feel having it, for one honest minute. Nothing to buy, nothing to download.
  2. Give something away today that costs you nothing but attention: a real reply, a full minute of listening, a kind word in a group chat. See how little it drains you.
  3. When money is tight or the door looks closed, resist the thought that you cannot afford to want this. Your inner state was never on the price list.

What have you told yourself you cannot have, when the only cost was believing it?

Zen · Hakuin

You are already what you are seeking. Searching for water while standing in the river is the only thing keeping you thirsty.

Rumi

What you are looking for has been looking for you the whole time. The longing itself is the proof that it is near.

Tao Te Ching

The Tao is never used up and asks nothing of you. It is poured out freely and costs the one who draws on it nothing.
