EGO & BEING

Ego v. Being

The good news, the gospel, has always been simpler than religion made it. It is this: the kingdom of God is not far away in space or time. It is the dimension of stillness and presence that lies within you, closer than your own breath.

When one awakened being walks into the world announcing this, he is not offering a new belief to add to your mind. He is pointing you back to what you already are beneath your thoughts. The kingdom arrives the moment you stop seeking it elsewhere and become present here.

MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

John shut in prison is the outer, physical understanding set aside so the inner one can begin its work. The good news carried into Galilee is that the kingdom of God is within and enters through assumption, not through anything done outside a person. Repentance here means a radical turn from a Christ looked for in the world to a Christ recognized as one's own imagination. The physical stage closes and the spiritual movement opens.

The kingdom is entered by revision, by immediately changing the inner account of what has happened and so changing the belief that shapes the world. A person assumes his desire by calling with I AM rather than pleading toward some name outside himself. Feeling the wish already fulfilled is the whole gospel in practice. The kingdom announced is not a place a person travels to but the state he consents to occupy now.

Live Mark 1:14 today

  1. Instead of reaching for the next article or video promising the answer, close the screen and sit quietly for two minutes with what you already have.
  2. Be fully with one person today, no phone on the table, no half attention. That presence is the whole thing, not a step toward it.
  3. In the middle of a busy afternoon, feel your feet on the floor and your breath moving. This ordinary moment is where it is, not after the deadline.

What am I looking for somewhere else that is already right here?
