Proverbs 7:18 Meaning Come
Come, let’s take our fill of loving until the morning. Let’s solace ourselves with loving.

Proverbs 7:18 · World English Bible
Come, let’s take our fill of loving until the morning. Let’s solace ourselves with loving.
The ego calls its emptiness love and invites the mind to be filled by it, but what promises to satisfy until morning is exactly the thing that leaves the mind hungrier than before. This is the great reversal temptation performs, naming separation love and lack fulfillment, offering as comfort the very division that emptied the mind to begin with.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY
The ego calls its emptiness love and invites the mind to be filled by it, but what promises to satisfy until morning is exactly the thing that leaves the mind hungrier than before. This is the great reversal temptation performs, naming separation love and lack fulfillment, offering as comfort the very division that emptied the mind to begin with.
True love does not need to take its fill, for it was never in want. A mind that hears the invitation to be sated can see that a voice promising to complete it has first had to convince it that it was incomplete, and that promise, however tender it sounds, is the lack itself wearing the name of its cure.
Morning: the passing hour of the ego's promise, the short-lived comfort that fades and leaves the mind emptier than before

SELF-HELP
A real hunger for comfort and connection will accept whatever vehicle is open at the hour it is loudest.
Solace is the word doing the work, since no one reaches for solace unless something already aches, and that ache is a genuine need for love and connection shopping among whatever vehicles are still open.
The ache sets the state, the state votes before the reasoning begins, and a decision made in that state belongs to the hunger rather than to the man. Connection pursued through a vehicle rented until morning returns him emptier than it found him, and the bill is drawn against a whole life rather than an evening.
Christian Psychology lens
What have I been calling a need today that was really just the wanting itself?
Craving is the ache, not the cure for it. What we reach for to end the wanting only teaches the mind to want again, so the filling never finishes.
There is no greater poverty than not knowing when you already have enough. The one who is content is rich, while the one chasing more stays poor no matter what arrives.
When something promises to complete you, look closely: it first had to persuade you that you were missing a piece. Wealth is not having much but needing little.
